Sutter Buttes #3 - Fine Finish Cabinets

A kitchen with wooden cabinets and granite counter tops.

This was our third cabinet job done on the same street in Roseville, word of mouth and neighbors showing off their beautiful new cabinets to eachother and recommending SacPlacer Painting was a great help.

This oak cabinet job was another unique one, there was alot of water damage from heavy use over the years by a large family. The grain in the oak was very noticable especially on the doors and drawers, and took multiple coats of grain filler and sanding to end up with a substrate we were comfortable starting with. From there we we used a Shellac primer to seal the wood, prevent any tannin bleeding and to promote adhesion, we then used a high build companion primer to further hide the oak grain, before spraying multiple top coats.

In the end the cabinets turned out looking great and the customer was very excited to show them off at their upcoming christmas party.
