This customer, a retired husband and wife had spent a lot of time remodeling their kitchen and when it came time to choose colors for the cabinets the wife was having difficulty making a decision. I asked her to choose 4 of her favorite colors off the small color pallet leafs and then I went and bought all 4 sample quarts and then went home to the workshop and first cut out 4 boards about 2' by 2' wide and then painted each one, so now she had much, much larger sample boards to put up against her new counter tops and backsplash to compare and to help her make that final color decision much easier. We all three agreed that the color "Elephant Skin" came out looking the best so we went ahead and chose that as the finish coat.
At the start of the project the husband requested that we fill all of the old hardware holes that were in the cabinet doors and drawers so that he could later install new drawer pulls and door handles. Once the application process was finished you would never have noticed that there were any holes in the doors previously.
In the end, after the job was completed, we all agreed that the "Elephant Skin" color in Semi Gloss was the perfect color and went along seamlessly with the new countertops, backsplashes and hardwood flooring.
